Our principals have experience in all functional areas of management. Since our perspective is that of “operator first”, we have the knowledge and skills to assist in strategy development, organizational development, building structure and process, and monitoring/managing execution to increase the likelihood of business success. Whether in product/market development, operations management, or recruitment and retention of key managers, we can assist you in building the value of your company.
Manufacturing is our strength. We have more than 10 years of experience in implementing Lean production systems across a variety of industries, in both large and small companies. “Lean” refers to the production system developed by Toyota over the last 50 years, which has been widely acknowledged as the key component responsible for their success and growth. It is our experience that Lean delivers improved quality, reduced lead times, and substantial reductions in labor, material, and facility costs within any organization. We do not take a “one size fits all” approach to Lean implementation. We recognize that every company has unique challenges and opportunities, and we are able to tailor an implementation approach that unlocks the maximum value for customers, without placing an unnecessary burden on the organization.
How We Partner with You
One or more of our principals will serve on the Board of Directors of your company. Depending upon the unique needs of your business at any particular time, one of our principals can also assist you in a particular area of the business. If you need a supplement to your existing team for the short term, we can help. For broader, more strategic considerations such as major capital outlays, financing, new product or market development, or building your team, we will be there to help you.
We believe that a solid understanding of what happens on the shop floor is a prerequisite to working with you. We take time to get acquainted with your people and become familiar with your processes, and equipment. As we develop a greater understanding of your operation, we work directly with your management team to develop a Lean enterprise.
